This free standing Garb-el Bedding Waste Disposal can be equipped with 3, 5,
or 7.5 horsepower electric equipment depending on required capacity. This unit is enclosed with a stainless steel top and either stainless steel or enamel finish, mild steel sides. All necessary electrical and plumbing components are pre-wired and pre-plumbed for easy, economical installation of the equipment. Available Accessories Include:

This Garb-el Bedding Waste Disposal is specially designed for installation
under a custom made work station, and can be equipped with 3, 5, or 7.5
horsepower electric equipment depending on required capacity. The unit is enclosed with either mild steel, enamel finish cabinet or with a stainless steel cabinet enclosure. As shown above, the feeder, or hopper opening is on the left end of the Garb-el unit, although it can be furnished with the opening at the right end. Available Accessories Include:

Dispose directly into Garb-el's
ample hopper: soiled bedding, shavings, cellulose compounds,
and paper board from cages and
excreta trays.
Placed in animal
holding rooms or in breakdown areas adjacent to load side of automatic washing
equipment, these units add
convenience never before known in research laboratories.
The fixed
hammermill pulverizer incorporated in the Garb-el is extremely tough, durable,
and
efficient. Case hardened steel
hammers shatter waste into small particles which are flushed
through a steel filter screen and
into the sewer system with minimum water requirement.

pre-wired and pre-plumbed for quick, easy, and economical installation!

Down-Draft System Options
Garb-el
Products Company can provide the following Down-Draft System Options
with its bedding
waste disposal models:
1. Down-Draft Exhaust: Fabricated in stainless steel and
integrated into bedding waste
disposal feed hopper, supplied with 2 inch diameter connection
intake exhaust hose and connected to stainless steel manifold
for connection to collection system.
2. Down-Draft Collection System: To be fitted to Garb-el
waste disposal. Maximum
650 CFM, filtration down to 50 microns, all
connecting hoses, 36 gallon capacity upper and lower
filtration bags, 1 horsepower motor, 115 volt with a
6 ft., 16 gauge line cord, U.L. CSA certified, on
casters for mobility.
3. Collection System Cabinet: This metal 24 gauge powder
coated cabinet houses and
protects collection system. Comes with chrome handle
and key lock. Cabinet has galvanized shutters for air
escape.
4. Electrical Hook-Up: To operate disposal and collection system simultaneously.
NOTE: Collection system operates independently from bedding disposal.
